Thirty-five key representatives from regulatory authorities, industries, ministries, and the insurance sector in Bolivia, Brazil, Costa Rica, Ecuador, and Guatemala convened in Quito to discuss the future of climate risk insurance.

After analyzing current opportunities and challenges, the event fostered discussions on insurance regulators’ critical role and identified key proposals to advance climate risk insurance across Latin America.

This gathering was made possible thanks to coordination and the partnership between the EbALAC program and EuroClima, which identified valuable shared experiences and knowledge to enrich the exchange.
