Its objective is to support decision-makers and technical professionals through reliable methodologies that enhance environmental performance, reduce operational and maintenance costs, and mitigate risks associated with climate change. The Guide underscores the importance of transforming the built environment toward more sustainable models that deliver tangible benefits. It was developed within the framework of the Acción Clima project, with the technical guidance of the Green Building Council Costa Rica (GBCCR).
