The International Climate Initiative (IKI) helps particularly vulnerable countries and regions to strengthen their adaptability to the consequences of climate change with the purpose of helping people better cope with changing weather conditions. Resilient Islands by Design: Integrating ecosystem- and community-based approaches to enhance climate change adaptation in the Caribbean

As a result of sea-level rise and the increasing frequency of extreme weather events, the Caribbean is particularly at risk from the impacts of climate change. The project is supporting governments and communities in partner countries in their efforts to integrate the concept of ecosystem-based adaptation (EbA) with local, national and regional planning.
