Youth are a key driver in the fight against climate change. They are a key driver in the fight against climate change. It is key to incorporate young voices in the construction of public policies with real participation that respond in a better way to the realities experienced by young people in their communities.

And ACCIÓN Clima is quite clear about this. This bilateral cooperation between Germany and CostaRica aims to implement the commitments set out in Costa Rica's NDC, with a special focus onaccompanied youth-led organisations in the planning of the pre-national youth meeting 2021, the firstNational Youth Forum on Climate Action, and the Costa Rican Youth and Climate Change Network(RJCCCR) in the creation of the Strategic Plan 2022-2026, which marks the roadmap that will definethe actions of the RJCCCR for the next four years.

"This strategic plan is our roadmap for the next four years and will allow us to act in an intersectional, intersectoral, and intergenerational way. Likewise, we will have a space of articulated youth around the country, taking joint actions of great social and environmental impact in the communities." Karen Proa RJCCCR project secretary
