The course was based on participatory methodologies focused on the learning process, where stakeholders are encouraged to improve their decision-making skills. Technical knowledge on the Ecosystem-based Adaptation approach was intertwined with cross-cutting issues such as governance, gender and community participation, in addition to strengthening functional competencies such as communication, teamwork, adult learning, among others.
