This NDC-TEC report evaluates Sustainable Green Public Procurement (SGPP) readiness across five CARICOM states – Antigua and Barbuda, Belize, Grenada, Jamaica and Saint Lucia. It identifies gaps in technical expertise, legal frameworks, and EV infrastructure. Key recommendations include mandating sustainability in procurement laws, adopting lifecycle costing, and strengthening regional protocols. The study provides a roadmap to align public transport spending with 2030 climate goals through institutional capacity building.
