This report suggests linking Ecosystem-based Adaptation (EbA) with agroecological approaches to transform our agrifood systems in a climate-resilient and nature-friendly way. It describes both concepts and the characteristics they have in common, demonstrating synergies and interdependencies. It illustrates three case studies applying the approach in Guatemala, India and Kenya, and offers practical steps for merging agroecology and EbA to adapt agricultural landscapes to climate change.
