Agricultural systems can provide vital services that support and sustain human development and, in turn, allow adaptation to the effects of climate change by promoting production processes that adapt to the climate and restore biodiversity, through the productive landscape.

The country has committed to sustainable production from the agricultural landscape, with actions undertaken in terms of agricultural diversification, modernization of agriculture and livestock, and reduction of Greenhouse Gas (GHG) emissions.
