Climate actions are conceptualized, designed and developed by a variety of stakeholders, such as public institutions, private companies, NGOs, academia, start-ups and civil society. Inherently, all of them form a community of knowledge and innovation on climate change.

In Costa Rica, these organizations have significant technical capacity in terms of climate action; different efforts reveal their leadership in the fight against climate change. The experience and knowledge of this community is an important asset to share with other countries to promote and support the achievement of climate goals in the region (figure 1).
