Large-scale transformation towards biodiversity-friendly, climate resilient agriculture through risk finance solutions and enabling policy and trade frameworks
The project creates incentives for biodiversity-friendly coffee, cocoa and banana production and thus promotes a broad-based transformation towards biodiverse agriculture. Through in-depth analyses, the starting points for financial solutions are examined, as well as the ecological, economic and political potential for change. The project develops and implements risk financing solutions for large-scale implementation of biodiversity-friendly practices. Agricultural organizations train micro, small and medium-sized enterprises in biodiverse agricultural practices and access to finance.
